What currency does DLsite charge in?

Japanese yen. You pay the amount shown next to “Purchase total” on the confirmation page. DLsite can display reference prices in about 20 other currencies, but those are estimates at the day’s rate.

Your card issuer, payment provider or point seller sets the final exchange rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. Prices already include Japanese consumption tax, and a point is always worth 1 yen whatever currency you display.
