Can I get a refund on DLsite?

Generally no. DLsite’s terms and legal notice say completed purchases are not refunded or canceled, and points cannot be refunded or turned into cash.

The exception is a defect: if a work cannot be downloaded or streamed and DLsite confirms the defect and cannot fix it, the payment is canceled within ten days of the purchase. If you were charged twice for the same item, DLsite returns the money in about two business days without you contacting support.

Because of this, check the “Supported languages” row and the system requirements on the work page before you buy — and try the free trial when there is one.
